8th Annual Earl Cook Classic
745 Kingsbury Ave
Winnipeg
Earl Cook was an alumni of care and Voices Scholar. He passed away from the effects of cancer, but he lived with energy and enthusiasm, especially when it came to hockey!
To honour his memory, and to celebrate the strength and resilience he demonstrated, we have a hockey game once a year. Youth in care vs Social Workers! It’s a good time 🙂
Our 8th Annual Earl Cook Classic is Saturday, March 2nd, 2019. Hockey players of all skill levels are welcome. If you need skates, a stick, or a helmet, just let us know (we borrow or rent what is needed). There is no cost to participate, just your energy and enthusiasm!
Doors open at 12:30pm. Free skate is 1pm-1:30pm. Hockey game from 1:30-2:30pm. Refreshments in the multipurpose room from 2:30-3:30pm. Please call 204-982-4956 if you’d like to participate!
