MACY Talking Circles: Youth and the Police

The Manitoba Advocate for Children and Youth (MACY) will be hosting Talking Circles to learn about youth experiences with the police.
You will be asked about your experiences with the police and your opinion about how services for young people can be improved. This solutions-focused discussion will inform a special report with recommendations for change to public bodies. You’ll be offered mental health and Knowledge Keeper supports before, during, and after the Talking Circle. There is also an option to attend a virtual Talking Circle.

- A virtual Talking Circle will take place on May 5th from 5-7pm via Zoom.
- Two in-person Talking Circles will take place on May 9th (1-3pm) and May 12th (5-7pm) at an outdoor tipi (bus tickets will be provided)
