Youth

This is the stage of preparation for adulthood and all of the independence and responsibilities that comes with it. It is the stage where an awareness of independent status begins and where either furthering education or begin looking for employment and finding a place to call one’s own.

This is the period where beginning to learn and grow from a child into an adult happens and these years can be intimidating but also the time to learn from mistakes and figure out who you are and where you wish to go with your life.

As a Youth in Care you have rights and many resources to help you. You are not alone. You have a voice and it will be heard.
