Program Coordinator (6 month/+ term)

The Voices Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, facilitating, and reporting on all Voices programs, including: Group Home Games Nights, Voices Leadership Team, System Kidz Radio Show, Voices ROx (physical activities), the Network Retreats, M.A.S.S.I.V.E., Earl Cook Classic Hockey Game, Voices Free Hug Day, and the Voices Family Christmas Party.  The Coordinator represents Voices: Manitoba’s Youth in Care Network on a variety of community councils/committees.

Do you have experience working with youth ages 12 to 24? Are you good at program planning and delivery and project budget management?  Do you understand of Manitoba’s child welfare system? Are you creative, energetic, conscientious and detail-oriented? Do you enjoy making a difference, being part of a team, and want to help youth-in-care recognize their potential? Are you fun!?!?!

Administrative Assistant (2 year term)

The Voices Administrative Assistant is responsible for the efficient operation of the youth in care network.  The Administrative Assistant is the first point of contact at the Network, responsible for maintaining a welcoming office environment, and responding to staff, member and public inquiries.  The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to staff, and coordinates Network information.  The Administrative Assistant is expected to manage independently with minimal supervision within the scope of assigned duties.

Do you have experience working with community based-organizations? Do you have demonstrated skills and abilities in office administration and organization?  Are you creative, energetic, conscientious and detail-oriented?  Do you enjoy making a difference, being part of a team, and helping youth recognize their potential?

Volunteer Opportunity

Our next retreat is September 29th to October 1st.  We will be spending the weekend learning, laughing, and making connections!
